“First Year Off” (of marriage)
Leah and I are still buying Sacred Marriage for every couple getting married since you guys bought it for us. I can’t remember if I told you that we also gave up watching t.v. for the first year of our marriage because of my talks with you.
Have you seen Dave Harvey’s, When Sinner’s Say I Do? Before Tripp released his own resource (the one you listed) he wrote the Forward to Harvey’s book and recommends the work.
Yes, we have used it for pre-marital counseling, but you’re right, it is good for existing marriages too.
At Bluefish TV, we’re working on an upcoming marriage DVD resource that will include teaching from Chip Ingram and features Kurt Warner and his wife/Dave Ramsey and his wife as well. It will be filled with real-life stories from people like you and I. Keep a look out for it. It will release in the fall. Thanks for posting these.
